Sponsorship and Donation Overview

On May 3, 2010 the 10th Annual Brian Clemens Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at UNC Finley Golf Course. The 2008 tournament was a great success raising over $17K. There was tremendous support from the business community with more than 100 donors and all 18 holes were sponsored. We expect 2010 to be even bigger.

Sponsorship and Donation opportunities are now available. Sponsorships range from $250-$5000. We are pleased to announce that Balfour Beatty is returning as a Presenting Sponsor. The sponsorship information is enclosed and can be customized if needed. In addition to sponsorship, there are other donation opportunities available that make a real impact and are crucial to the success of this event. These include:

• Donation of items to the Silent and Live Auctions (items with a value of $50 or more would be appreciated)
• Donation of prizes for Golfers (groups of 4 identical items are good team prizes, and 2 duplicate items can be used to award the 2 Longest Drive contests, etc).
• Donation of Raffle items
• Donations for the Goody Bags (this can be almost anything-but we will need about 144 of each item)

While this is a great marketing opportunity, your support makes a real difference in the lives of those who have the greatest needs in our community. All proceeds benefit Community House, The IFC's residential facility for men. Last year, because of the support of generous donors we were able to provide:

• 31,864 nights of safe lodging
• 87,588 hot meals at the Community Kitchen
• Free health/mental health care to 550 clients
• Job coaching, IDs, emergency monetary support for rent, heat & other basic needs
